SlumAid Project

The Project is aimed at people of any age from the UK who want to work with slum dwellers. 

The Project works in partnership with a local NGO in Mumbai.  Volunteers travel to Mumbai for placements of varying periods ranging from four weeks to six months.

• They work on projects for slum dwellers before returning to the UK. 
• The Project is run by New Millennium Network Limited, a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee.

Aims and Objectives

The aims and objectives of the Project are to:

• Give people from the UK a unique experience of working in areas of extreme poverty and deprivation.
• Work with a local NGO on slum dwellers programmes in the slums of Mumbai.
